RE: Sandy Cunningham
Community Love for Kids

To Whom It May Concern:

Sandy Cunningham cas a vision of the opportunity in our community by offering a Free Book Festival to Mark Twain Elementary School. She not only inspired us to particiapte in partnership with Second Baptist Church, she provided training for all our volunteers. Every detail needed to make the even succesful was provided.

Sandy encouraged us to make sure that prayer covered every aspect of the ministry. We were encouraged to have people prayer walk on Friday before the festival, as well as during it. She made sure our volunteers recognized that this would be an opportunity to show God's love to children while also encouraging them in developing literacy skills through the gift of free books.

We are certainly stlil in the growing stages of development in all areas, but on Saturday we are hosting our first festival on our own. She has walked the process with us the past two years. We have been able to collect enough books, arrange entertainment, provide prizes, crafts, face painting, leather necklace, science experiments, fingernail painting, and lunch for this year's festival.

Her leadership helped us begin an after school Bible Club that we call Explorer's Club at Mark Twain. We are completing our 2nd full year. We have 24-30 children attending each week.

Sandy's leadership development and organizational skills, positive encouragement, prayerful attitude, and cooperative spirit have been a blessing to our team as we have embraced this community partnership in education.

I highly recommend Sandy Cunningham and Community Love for Kids to any organization or individuals wanting to impact their community in a variety of positive ways.
